Meet Sarah E. Hague, M.Ed.

Founder & CEO, Health Education Partners, LLC

Sarah E. Hague, M.Ed., is the Founder and CEO of Health Education Partners, LLC, bringing more than 17 combined years of experience in higher education, community health, public health promotion, and health coaching. Originally from Detroit and now based in Carmel, Indiana, Sarah has lived in six states and taught at colleges across the country, giving her a unique, nationwide perspective on community health needs and educational practice. Her teaching portfolio spans courses such as Community Health, Epidemiology, Health Behavior Theory, Stress Management, Human Health and Disease, Program Planning, Alcohol & Drug Education, and Public Health in the Movies. She is known not only for classroom instruction, but for designing and implementing experiential learning projects that make public health real, relevant, and accessible for both students and the communities they serve.

Sarah is an experienced community health program manager with a track record of planning, implementing, and evaluating multiple health initiatives. From 2023–2025, she supervised five major community health programs in partnership with Clemson University and organizations across the Upstate of South Carolina. These included wellness-focused “Lunch and Learn” sessions, hands-on STEM and health education through “I Am a Scientist,” weekly health education programming at The Dream Center, and a Health & Nutrition Literacy program for adults with low literacy skills. She has also collaborated with numerous local organizations to deliver mental health initiatives, community education events, and youth-focused health programming.

Her career also includes roles with the Wellbeing Coalition of Westfield, Give an Hour, the University of Michigan’s MHealthy program, Ivy Tech Community College, Oklahoma State University, Indiana University-Indianapolis, and Clemson University. Across these roles, Sarah has built strong partnerships with schools, nonprofits, and community agencies to address health disparities, support mental health awareness, and strengthen community wellness.

Sarah is also a national presenter, having spoken at conferences such as the Society of Public Health Education (SOPHE), the Society for Experiential Education (SEE), and the Lilly Conference on Student Learning. Her work has been supported by multiple grants for experiential learning and community program development.

Guided by her belief that “…better health begins with education,” Sarah brings transparency, authenticity, and expertise to every project she leads.

She holds a Master of Education in Health Education from Wayne State University (Detroit, MI) and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Toledo (Toledo, OH).

In her spare time, Sarah enjoys reading, exploring nature, taking road trips to new places, and spending time with her family. Her faith is an essential part of her life and guides everything she does, both personally and professionally. She is deeply grateful for the many blessings in her life, especially her three children, Raymond, Paige, and Liamm.
