Jennifer M. Cordell M.Ed., CIC
State Program Director, Michigan
Jennifer Cordell is a certified infection prevention and public health leader with more than 15 years of experience designing, implementing, and evaluating large-scale surveillance and quality improvement initiatives across healthcare systems. As State Program Director for Health Education Partners - Michigan, she leads statewide program strategy, implementation oversight, and cross-sector collaboration to ensure measurable community impact.
Jennifer brings deep expertise in infection prevention, regulatory compliance, outbreak response, and healthcare-associated infection reduction across acute care, ambulatory, and long-term care settings. She has directed multidisciplinary teams, guided performance improvement initiatives, and aligned healthcare operations with CDC and NHSN standards to strengthen public health infrastructure.
Her credentials include a Master of Education in Health Education, Certified in Infection Control (CIC) designation, and Michigan licensure as a Nursing Home Administrator.

Daisha Bonhomme, MS
State Program Director – Louisiana
Daisha Bonhomme is a systems-level public health strategist with more than 10 years of experience managing federally funded initiatives focused on chronic disease prevention, vaccine equity, and community capacity building. As State Program Director for Health Education Partners – Louisiana, she leads statewide strategy, partnership development, and performance management to advance measurable, equity-centered health outcomes.
Daisha brings extensive expertise in federal grant oversight, equitable subcontracting, policy and systems change, and technical assistance across community-based and governmental settings. She has directed multimillion-dollar CDC-funded portfolios, led participatory grantmaking initiatives, and strengthened the operational capacity of more than 120 community-based organizations nationwide.
She holds a Master of Science in Kinesiology and is a Certified Health and Well-being Coach. At Health Education Partners, she ensures that strategic priorities are operationalized through disciplined implementation, stakeholder coordination, and performance accountability across Louisiana.
